As a childcare manager, you have a few crucial roles on your part when it comes to setting up of the childcare facility. Here are the responsibilities that you are expected to discharge.

Designing the programs
One of your significant responsibilities as a childcare manager is designing the day-to-day activities of your center. You must plan the regular schedule of activities that will entertain the kids, and give you a clear and practicable plan for ensuring discipline. There must also be a contingency arrangement to face emergencies like a fire accident at the facility.

Supervising the staff
The daycare manager is the in-charge of recruiting as well as supervising all the employees at the childcare facility. This part of the responsibility will include hiring the right employees, making recruitments to replace those that are leaving the jobs, training the employees, assessing their performance, and dealing with the problems that might arise while managing the facility over a time.

Duties related to administration
Some of the most important tasks connected to administration are making the budget, maintaining the records, managing the client files, making purchases for the facility, updating the parents and any other tasks that come up based on your style of operations.
