Introducing the Nocpix MICRO 2 ULTRA

Nocpix hit it out of the park with the ACE S60R, and they’re back at it with the MICRO 2 ULTRA, a thermal optic that’s an industry first in its class. Plus, it offers some really cool value-added performance features. Here are some high level notes that you should take away from this scope.

Industry-First 1280×960 4-in-1 Thermal Scope

This is the industry’s first 1280×960 4-in-1 thermal scope that can be run as a dedicated weapon sight, used as a handheld thermal scanner like a monocular, helmet-mounted, or used as a clip-on. In fact, this new Nocpix thermal scope specifically is designed to be used as a helmet-mounted thermal optic which makes it excellent for scanning and scouting. Since it can also be used as a clip-on thermal optic, too, it can be used to convert your existing glass scope into a thermal scope. This 4-in-1 design makes this one of the most versatile thermal scopes currently on the market.

Enjoy an Ultra Wide Field of View

The plague of small optics with small fields of view is past. The new Nocpix MICRO 2 ULTRA boasts a 34.2° by 25.9° field of view, affording a wider view and covering more terrain than other helmet mounted optics. You can see more at a glance, providing a better, clearer sight picture and better overall situational awareness.

Designed to Be Helmet-Mounted

While this is a 4-in-1 thermal scope, it was designed to be a helmet-mounted optic, and it is optimized specifically for dual-thermal and thermal and night vision configurations. It’s compatible with MUM rails as well as standard Picatinny rails, offering you plenty of options when it comes to mounting the unit if you don’t want to use it as a handheld thermal monocular.

An Upgraded Eyepiece and Display

This new Nocpix thermal scope boasts an upgraded eyepiece and display, and supports digital magnification up to 10x thanks to its advanced thermal sensor and display. The display also supports 7 different color palettes, including a few such as viridian and crimson that are suitable for use in low-light conditions or in complete darkness because they will not counterproduce your night vision.

Built Tough to Handle the Elements

Made with a tough but lightweight magnesium alloy body, the Nocpix MICRO 2 ULTRA boasts an IP67 rating for protection against moisture and particulate ingress and it also is reliable at colder temperatures, making it a great thermal optic for night hunters pursuing predators in relatively cold climates, especially late in the season.

Why a Regenerative Desiccant Air Dryer Keeps Outdoor Air Lines From Freezing

Outdoor compressed air lines freeze for one reason: the air inside them carries more water vapor than the pipe temperature allows. A regenerative desiccant air dryer removes that vapor before it reaches exposed piping, loading docks, and unheated buildings. Plant managers who wait for the first frozen drip leg end up with stalled actuators, burst […]
